According to Finfacts (2006), Mercer Human Resource Consulting's research of the world rankings of the cost of living clearly displays that at 93rd place, it is considerably cheaper in Egypt than in several other European cities: London 5th most expensive; Paris 15th; Dublin 18th; Cairo 93rd, which means that tourists can experience a luxury holiday for a fraction of the price they would pay elsewhere.
