Brazil Mortgages

Brazil is still an emerging market in terms of property investment and sourcing mortgages. There are currently no mortgages available to foreigners from a Brazilian lender however, things are set to change very soon – mortgages to foreign owners of land or property in Brazil will become available within the next two years. Currently, foreigners purchasing property in Brazil raise the finance by borrowing against an existing property in their home country.
